Red Mountain Music Company

Not Just A Choir Any More!

The Red Mountain Music Company continues to expand its horizons and the quality of music we offer. What began as a group of voices with a desire to sing Handel’s Messiah one holiday season has turned into one of Southern Nevada’s most dynamic and prolific performing companies.

Though many of those same dedicated voices still sing with the Red Mountain Choir, many more have joined our ranks and allowed us to expand who we are and what we provide. We have been overwhelmed at Boulder City’s continued dedication to our cause, and so we’re very excited to announce several new offerings this year.

For those who can’t get enough of our talented performers, we are pleased to introduce our Second Saturday Concert Series, held almost every second Saturday evening of the month. These themed performances showcase some of the best solo talent RMMC has to offer. The response to these new performances has been fantastic – so good in fact, that we have added a 5:30 performance to the existing 7:00 performance. So please come see us—twice, if there’s room! We’re in the LA Water & Power Building at 600 Nevada Way, and tickets are available at the BC Chamber of Commerce.

Another new addition to our lineup is the premiere of the Red Mountain Music Theatre, which will begin this summer with 16 performances of The Fantasticks from July 5-28 in the LADWP building.

But wait! There’s more! Aspiring musical theatre performers will be given a world-class opportunity to sharpen their skills at the first annual Red Mountain Music Camp to be held August 5-11 at the fabulous El Splendido Ranch (graciously donated by Michael and Teresa Giroux) near Panguitch, Utah.

Finally, our seasonal Red Mountain Choir shows will continue as always. We’re gearing up to perform “Children of Eden in Concert” May 17-18 at Ham Hall, UNLV. (There’s just no stage big enough for this production in Boulder City, but it’s one you won’t want to miss!)
We’re so excited about the new horizons we’re exploring. We hope to see you at every performance. And hey! Bring a friend! More information available at www.redmountain music.org and 294-0043.
