The September 2016 to February 2017 brochure is hot off the press. You can pick up a copy at the Recreation Department at 900 Arizona Street and it is also available on the City website at bcnv.org.
New this fall to the class offerings is a Hatha Yoga class that meets Monday and Wednesday from 9:30 to 10:30am at the Nevada Way Recreation Building (DWP). Registration for this class is very flexible with a daily rate of $13, a five-class card for $50 or a ten-class card with a bonus free class for $100. Students have six months to use class cards. Instructor Amy Dieleman is a Certified Yoga Therapist with extensive study in biomechanics and her love for neuroscience add impact and insight to her detailed instructional style of teaching. Viniyoga is also offered with Viniyoga certified instructor Lyn Banas Petronsky.
You will also notice that the preschool Tot classes have expanded with classes in art, science, alphabet, numbers, creative movement and an introduction to dance class. These classes for ages eighteen-months and up have been growing rapidly so register early to ensure your position in the class.
This summer’s Science Camp has been expanded to offer a two hour camp the second Saturday of each month. Additionally, you will now have the ability to work with instructor Deborah Downs one-on-one in Russian, Portugeese and now private coaching in public speaking.
