Okay, who doesn’t like to eat? Whether you’re looking for a home cooked meal, some fresh flavor fusion, sushi, or something quick, Boulder City has it all! In fact, people travel here sometimes just to visit some of the famous eateries that adorn the streets. Locals and tourists alike flock to the amazing restaurants while on their way to shop in the Historic District or heading to or from Hoover Dam. There is nothing spared at some of our local hot spots for dining and spirits!
Locals know this already, but the World Famous Coffee Cup Café was listed as a favorite stop on Guy Fieri’s Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives on the Food Network. Only open for breakfast and lunch from 6am to 2pm, you will be lucky to slide in without a wait. Their most famous dish is the pork chile verde which is nothing short of amazing!
Southwest Diner is another local favorite, serving up traditional southwest and mouthwatering pies! With the weather cooling down, the patio is the place to be! Providing easy access to the historic route, Southwest Diner is a great stop while heading to the Dam. But you MUST try their pies!
If you’re just coming into town, stop by Chilly Jilly’z, they have a great assortment of breakfast pastries, lunch items and Broaster Chicken! Oh and you must have some Dole Whip while you’re there! At the newly renovated China Bistro Asian Fusion, they are cooking up some classic favorites and can even do special requests! Coming into Historic Downtown, there’s the Dillinger (some amazing Gouda Bites!), Evan’s Old Towne Grill (serving up great date night eats!), Boulder Dam Brewing Company (beer and wings!), Jack’s Place (another great beer and spirit stop) and Momo Sushi, our newest addition to the area.
There are plenty more, so come on down and have your own tour of the taste bud pleasing eateries! Our next edition is a secret so make sure you continue to watch for the “ings” to do in Boulder City!
Whatever it is you do, get out there and enjoy what Boulder City has to offer!
