2013 marks the 70th year of library service in Boulder City. To celebrate, we are inviting our public to help us design not one but two logos for the library. We are asking for submissions which reflect our service to the Youth of Boulder City and to the entire community. The winning logos will be used throughout the library, on promotional materials, website, library cards, and many other ways. Your design could be a very important part of our Library’s image. Entrants of all ages may submit up to three entries for the Contest.
The winning logos will reflect the Boulder City Library’s Mission:
The Boulder City Library strives to strengthen our community through access to information, entertainment and ideas, with a special mission to inspire a love of reading and learning.
Entries must be submitted in one of the following ways: Emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org (please use the subject line Library Logo Contest). Or, they can be turned in at the library in an electronic format (flash drive, CD/DVD disc, etc.) Multiple Entries may be submitted on the same device.
All submissions must in JPG format AND preferably in EPS format. See submission guidelines for further information. Entries must include the name, postal address, phone number and email address of the entrant.
Entries must be identified as “Youth Design” or “General Design.” No more than three entries may be submitted by any one entrant.
The Boulder City Library Logo Contest opened on October 14, 2013. All Entries must be submitted by midnight on December 16, 2013. There is no fee to enter the contest.
