Tiny Tots registration will take place at the at 900 Arizona St. office for the 4 and 5 year old class on Monday, August 6th and for the 3 and 4 year old class Tuesday, August 7th beginning at 7:30am each day. These classes have been known to fill-up quickly. Early registration is recommended and a birth a certificate and shot record is required. Class fees are based off $4 per hour of service.

School starts August 27th as does the before and after school Safekey program. This program starts at 7am and operates until the school bell rings at 8:10am. The morning fee is $3 per day. The program resumes immediately after school until 6pm. The afternoon session is $9 per day. Registration packets are currently available in our main office and it is recommended that these be finalized before the first day of school. Beginning the first day of school, Safekey registration is best managed at the Safekey site in King Elementary School during Safekey hours.

The 2012 soccer season will kick off with player rating clinics that will take place August 29th for grades kindergarten through 2 and September 5th for grades 3rd through 8th. Although the player rating clinic is not mandatory, it is essential for placing the children on teams in a way that each team has a variety of playing levels.  This is important to the outcome of a successful season as the goal is for each team to be well-rounded with children with various levels of talent and skill. A $38 fee is required to play in this league, which includes a shirt. Typically, for the different competitive leagues, a variety of sponsors help to supplement the cost of the season. Over the past few years, local dentist Dr. Huxford of Boulder Dental Group has sponsored the entire league. Kudos to Dr. Huxford and all of our other sponsors who support Parks and Recreation sports teams throughout the year. These leagues simply would not exist without the support of our sponsors and coaches. Additionally, the outstanding sports staff makes this league second to none. The 2011 soccer season hosted 36 teams with 8-10 children per team. Coaches will be needed to support the 2012 season.
