Interactive Online Boulder City Magazine

Check this out! Now the Boulder City Magazine is online for everyone to see. Go to www.bouldercitymagazine.com and click on “Current Issue.” Right under the current cover picture you will see the text “NEW! Click Here For Digital Magazine.”

There you will find some instructions on how to view the online magazine. Clicking the corners of the magazine pages will allow you to turn the pages. You can page forward or backward.

On page 4 you will find the index to the magazine. The index is interactive, move your mouse over the articles, advertisers or realtors; then click, and you will jump right to the page you chose to view. Also, if you click on one of the e-mail addresses on the top right this will bring up your e-mail program and put the address in a new message. Just type in your message and send it.

Click to page 3 to see my Appleby Arts ad on the left side of the page. When you move your mouse over my ad it will change the mouse pointer to a hand. If you click, you will be taken to my website. This is another new feature that is being added to the online version of the Boulder City Magazine.

A couple pages to remember are page 10 for my Tech Tip article, and of course, don’t forget page 3 for my Appleby Arts ad to see the latest special. Call David Sharp at 331-3123 for more information and to link your business through bouldercitymagazine.com.

Today’s Tip: Have you backed up all the files on your computer lately? If not, there’s no time like the present. If it takes you too long to save your files on DVDs, you can purchase an external USB hard drive, plug it in and copy all of your files there at once.

Don’t forget to save things you might not think of like your old e-mails, address books, photos, documents and bookmarks. If you save all of your files under the “My Documents” folder on your PC, it will make backing up easier because you’ll know where all your files are.
