Green Boulder City
S. R. DeBoer was chosen to design Boulder City. The planner, from Denver, designed the city on a grand scale with green belt forests and fan shaped lots. The Bureau of Reclamation revised the plans to be more economical, but green areas were still planned. A large lawn was created below the Administration Building. The lawn has been used by the residents of Boulder City. Residents often refer to it as Government Park.
