The Dam Short Film Festival is finally here! 100 short films will be screened at the American Legion Hall, at 508 California Ave, on February 4th, 5th and 6th. Tickets are $4 per program. Each program contains 3 to 12 short films and runs between 60 and 90 minutes. You can also buy a 3-day pass for $40, which gets you into all the programs, plus the Special Guest Seminars and the Filmmaker/Press Lounge. The Lounge will be located at the DWP auditorium at the corner of Nevada Way and Ash St. and will be open 9 am to 7:30 pm Saturday and Sunday. The Lounge will be the perfect place to meet guest filmmakers, chat with local press, hang out with fellow film buffs, and grab a snack out of the cold.
